Independence day has always been more than just a date on the calendar; This reminds us of the nation’s struggles, victims and values of freedom that we often take. In addition to parade, flags and school ceremonies, what independence really means in our personal and collective lives is a deep reflection on it. As the world around us develops, the idea of freedom also requires a only intercourse as a nation, but also a person who navigates in the complexity of society, upbringing and self-identification.
✒ The Joy and Traditions of Independence Day
It was the time of the year, when kids would go out to celebrate by being in schools. The hope of getting sweets on the day of our independent nation has been widely celebrated across the country. Over the years, there have been quite a lot of mishaps, being part of the country’s progress. However, each and every citizen of the country has celebrated. Everybody is happy or not, depends on the individual.
Are we truly independent?
If we are truly independent regardless of the place where we are coming from, the onus is definitely on the surroundings and upbringing. It truly baffles me to no end, if we truly have the autonomy over our lives, like we always say. We still tend to take our parents’ opinion more seriously, than our own ideas and thought processes.
🎭 The Influence of Society and Upbringing
It is a different topic to be discussed, that as a child we need help from our surroundings. The nearest humans who could help us at that point of time are our parents. As we grow older, we forget the challenges and personal issues, they helped us shape our lives. Sometimes, the time is going really swiftly. It has occupied our spaces to notice all the qualities we often forget about.
Our idea of living in society has not been any different after a few decades.
📚 The Reality of Everyday Life
We have our thoughts that are restricted to a herd mentality. The individuality we considered is far from reality. Yes, we do have our educational qualifications, our jobs that pay us somewhat appropriately. But, as an individual we often forget who we truly are, and where we come from.
A sign of knowing very well, we are the way we are. The essential qualities catered towards sudden changes in our minds, to follow the cookie cutter routine of what life actually is like, tells a bigger picture of the society we live in.
🌱 Lessons from Life and People
Everyday you think of life, how it would be different without the noisy neighbors, or lesser traffic jams, or fewer road accidents. Yet, we still don’t know whether it works for our betterment in our lives or not. My mind has been the same way, the thoughts and ideas have changed.
As we grow older, we forget about the dilemma we possess to not notice the world in our minds. A new wave of empowerment is seen amongst the people who come at a wrong time in our lives, but could change our lives as a huge lesson for the betterment of our future.
🌍 The Future of Independence
Every child deserves a loving parent, the schools to study. The environment we grew up in is not our fault to be at a place of unexpected fates. The independent person is a result of the choices he or she makes as an adult. Talk about it as a best part of our childhood. The journey speaks about the newer generations to succumb to what we have provided for their better future.
An independent person always has a chance to be self reliant on his own for a longer duration in his will.
🎯 Conclusion
Real freedom extends far beyond the boundaries of political freedom – it remains in alternatives we make, the personality we embrace and the future we form for generations to come. While traditions and ceremonies remind us of our shared past, the real essence of freedom lies in the creation of self -confidence, dignity and development life. Freedom then is not just about remembering the story, but about taking the soul forward – to ensure that every action we leave the legacy of hope, flexibility and progress.
